Kappa Kappa Gamma Tablescapes, 2006
After our participation in the 2005 Kappa Kapp Gamma Tablescapes event, Cocktails and Caviar Owner and Creative Director, Cory Morrison and Floral Director, Jaye Dargan have been asked to participate in this year's event.
To step it up a notch, Cocktails and Caviar is teaming up with Nieman Marcus' Bridal Registry of Fort Worth for this year's Kappa Kappa Gamma Tablescapes event at the Dallas Country Club. Together we have decided to name this year's table, "Gorgeous"!
Come see how 60 local designers turn some boring old tables into stunning works of art. The centerpieces and decorations are scattered around the Dallas Country Club for ladies to peruse. Proceeds benefit area nonprofit organizations as well as the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation Educational Programs.

Perot 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration
After "Cocktails and Caviar" on the porch, guests were seated for dinner and were treated to a surprise visit from the Dallas Symphony Chorus, under the direction of David R. Davidson, as the first course was being served. The mini concert ended with a snappy rendition of "Happy Anniversary" to Mr. and Mrs. Perot.
Family and Friends were treated to an evening of fine dining and dancing to the eloquent tunes of The Bob Hardwick Sound, a thirteen piece Orchestra from New York.
One of the highlights of the evening was the cutting of the cake, an exact replica of the couple's wedding cake, fifty years prior, of which Mr. Perot was quoted saying, as they departed from their original reception, "That was good cake!"
Special thanks goes to Mrs. Karl Rathjen and her three delightful sisters for this wonderful opportunity.
