D Magazine's "Best of Big D" 2006 event, benefiting the Texas Scottish Rites Children's Hospital was a huge success!








Founder, Publisher and Editor of D Magazine, Wick Allison takes a moment to congratulate and thank Cory Morrison, Owner and Creative Director of Cocktails and Caviar for another "incredible Job!".










This year's event, hosted by D Magazine's Executive Editor, Tim Rogers, brought out some 2200 guests to celebrate this year's "Best of Big D" winners!
















Guest were treated to complimentary cuisine from such restaurants as, "Americas", Desperado", "George Catering", "Greenz", Go Fish", La Duni", Palomino", Texas de Brazil", "Tuckers", "Velvet Hookah" and in the "Infiniti VIP Lounge", "Nana". Libations flowed from such sponsors as "X Rated" Vodka, "Heiniken", "Amstel Light" and "Bare Foot Winery".

Guest danced the night away to some amazing entertainment provided by Dave Von Blohn of Dallas based "Absolute Entertainment".





Groups included the incredible sounds of "The Wonders", the ultra groovy tunes of the Beatles cover band, "Hard Night's Day" and the ever popular and crowd pleasing sounds of "Top"! The party continued well into the wee hours of the night and a fabulous time was had by all!

D Magazine celebrates their Best of Big D list next Thursday at Gilley's Dallas. But, Christina McLarty finds out, you won't recognize the legendary spot. It's getting a makeover for the Bash!

Cocktails and Caviar will be featured at the upcoming D Weddings' "Haute Weddings" event at the historic Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas on September 24, 2006. The event will begin at 1PM. Brides will be able to meet Creative Director and Owner, Cory Morrison and Floral Director, Jaye Dargan in person. Be sure to check it out!

After the huge success of the 2005 "Best of Big D" event, Cory Morrison of Cocktails and Caviar has once again, been selected to design D Magazine's "Best of Big D" event again this year. The event is being held at Gilley's Dallas, located at 1135 South Lamar, Dallas Texas on Thursday, July 20th from 7PM - 10PM. This year's theme is "Platinum". So white is the color of choice this year... but wait, "We've got a lot of surprises in store for the guests this year.", Mary Poe, Marketing Director for D Magaine.

With entertainment like, "The Wonders" and "A Hard Night's Day" along with featured DJ's "DJ Sista Whitenoise" and "DJ EZ Eddie D", the party should continue well into the wee hours! Tripple X Vodka will have the libations flowing and everyone can sample tasty nibbles from "The Best of Big D" restaurant winners for 2006. Be sure to check out the "INFINITI VIP LOUNGE".
